As a result of the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic we have put a number of measures in place for the September Market to ensure that all our customers, stallholders and volunteers remain safe. For the forseeable future, because of the current social distancing guidelines, we have moved to the grounds of St.Margaret's Church where it should prove easier to ensure a safe shopping experience for our customers, stallholders and volunteers.

You are asked not to attend if you have any of the COVID-19 symptoms, i.e. high temperature, a new continuous cough and/or change in taste or sense of smell.

Everyone attending the market will be asked to comply with social distancing guidelines and we will be operating a one-way system round the stalls, with managed queues to limit the number of customers in the market at any one time.

Household groups are welcome but we ask all households to remain together. We will provide hand sanitiser upon entry to and exit from the market and encourage all customers to use contactless methods of payment where possible. Customers are asked to only touch the stall items that they are definitely going to buy.

We plan to have a total of 19 stalls covering a wide range of products and look forward to welcoming you to our new site at the slightly later starting time of 09:30. Last entry to the market will be 12:30.

All of our regulars are due to be with us in September and we are pleased to welcome back Horsforth Brewery, Lasagnas on the Road, Por Favour, Tricky Dickies, Yorkshire Dama and Slow Rise Bagels as guest stalls.

Please feel free to bring your own plastic food containers, to reduce the number of plastic bags that the stallholders have to use to wrap up items.
