We're very sorry to have to announce that we've decided to cancel our February market. Under the current lockdown rules we could have legally operated but felt that we should follow the example of the Briggate, Headingley and Oakwood markets and close in February.

We hope to be open again in March but will provide an update nearer the time. In the meantime please do support our wonderful stallholders if you possible can: delivery and online options.

We're very much looking forward to our first market of 2020!

All of our regulars will be with us in February including our newest regular stall, Lasagnas on the Road, who has been an occasional guest stall at the Market for a while now and will be a new regular attender from February onwards.

We are also pleased to welcome back Bad Dog Bakery, Northern Greens, Pextenement Cheese Company, Slow Rise Bagels and Tricky Dickies as guest stalls.

The entertainment in February will now be provided by the Rock Choir, NOT a bouncy castle as previously stated. Sorry for the confusion!

February 2019

All of our regular stalls will be with us for our first market in 2019. In addition, we are pleased to welcome Horsforth Brewery, Lasagnas on the Road, Pextenement Cheese Company, Slow Rise Bagels and Tricky Dickies as guest stalls.

News

October 2021 News

We'll be celebrating our ninth birthday in October! The market was first established in 2012.

As a result of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, we will have a number of measures in place to ensure that all our customers, stallholders and volunteers remain safe.

You are asked not to attend if you have any of the Covid-19 symptoms, i.e. high temperature, a new continuous cough; and/or loss/change in taste or smell. We will be operating a one-way system round the stalls, with managed queues to limit the number of customers in the market at any time.

Family groups are welcome but all families are asked to stay together. We will provide hand sanitiser upon entry to and exit from the market and will encourage all customers to use contactless methods of payment where possible. Customers are asked to only touch the stall items that they are definitely going to buy.

We plan to have a total of 23 stalls covering a wide range of products. We look forward to welcoming you to the market.

We will open at 09:00 and last entries to the market will be at 12:30.
